Vince Carter..........

Vince has since left us. But are you sure he can't jump anymore? Did you see that dunk at the all-star game? Where was his head compared to the rim? Certainly his abilty to cock it back and throw it down with awesome power hasn't gone. Why Vince? I'm somewhat bitter, but more than anything it saddens me to see him do this and not to do it more consistently. After watching the dunk contests post Vince, I have yet to see anyone who could compare. Josh smith was nice, Jason Richardson was cool, Fred Jones and Desmond Mason were alright but none have matched the power, emotion, hops and aerial grace as VC(it was so easy for him). I hear all these people praising Chris Bosh about how he's doing it the right way, how he's grounded and playing the right way. I've heard all those things before about a faded star. I still love Vince Carter because more than any other player, he's shown us things that you've never seen before and have yet to see again. Where have the dunks gone Vince?
